The Dream Factory's first ever scooter rally appearance was at Weston Super Mare in September 1984.

As we walked around the town on the Saturday afternoon before the gig on the night we spotted, gobsmackingly, this Vespa scooter which was dedicated to us!!!

We were shocked and dead chuffed - sort of honoured!!!

The lads pictured drunkenly crowding round this scooter (God knows who owned it or where he or she was from!!) were all local Tamworth and Polesworth scooterists.

To get to this gig myself and Dream Factory lead singer Tim Goode refused to travel down in the band van - we went on our Vespa scooters!!!

And to make it more "real" we even organised a scooter convoy which began at The Square in Polesworth early on the morning featuring loads of Dream Factory fans from Tamworth, Atherstone, Polesworth and Nuneaton on their scooters.

It then weaved its way to Birmingham and in particular to the Tyburn House where another two scooter clubs from Brum joined in the mass of scooters as we headed south on the A38!!

Amazing scenes really and totally unforgettable!!
