What can you do? Who do you know? Dates? Bands? DJs? PA? Borough Council contacts?

Very Happy I'm up for it. I'm not sure what I can do, apart from buying an axe and trying to learn how to play it again, then seeking out my old bandmates! But, yes, anything I can do to help just let me know Ed. And a very happy Christmas to our forum, and let's make it our NYR to get more people involved and registered. Seasons Greetings to you all!

You can count on Touchin Cloth to give you any help you need, too
(Barring any restraing orders, community service, prostate check ups, etc, etc).
Haven't told the rest of them yet, they love suprises!
It'd be a blast, 12 hour gig, catching up with people you thought were dead!

I'm up for doing unspecified things that are within my powers. Oh, and if any bands are lacking bass players, I'd be happy to oblige.

My original plan was for the event to happen in 2007. For two reasons, firstly (and selfishly) because it's the 30 year anniversary of my being in a Tamworth band and secondly, because I thought the website would be finished this year. I wanted the reunion gig to be the icing on the cake, the final piece in the jigsaw of the complete history. But...I reckon it's going to be at least another year until the site's finished. Can you wait that long for the gig? Can you keep your enthusiasm going that long?? I hope so.

That's a bit of a relief Ed, as getting a band (back) together when you're a grown up is not quite as easy as it used to be! Plus, I'm in touch with and have been for beers with an ex-Spiral Eye member and hope to have news on that front fairly soon...

Rob - great - while you're at it you could ask the Spiral's if it's OK to add some of their songs to the Jukebox - if you don't mind. Cheers, Ed.
