Anyone interested contact Darren…

Additional Info:
The Jupiter Rhythm Kings started in name only after the end in 1980 of our previous band The Wipeouts. In 1982 the opportunity to play together as a band came about and The Jupiter Rhythm Kings came into existence. But right from the beginning it looked like we were going to be condemned to be an instrumentalist surf guitar band forever as not even the power of mighty Tamworth Herald advertising could find us a suitable vocalist or additional guitar/keyboard player. I guess the mention that our influences were The B-52s and The Revillos didn't work in a town then bristling with Heavy Metal, New Romantic and Mod bands.
Songs
We quickly wrote a couple of songs to give us something other than cover versions to practice but as none of us could sing the lyrical quality was a little lacking.
